Founded in Cairns by proud Gunggari Aboriginal woman Charmaine Saunders and her husband Denis Keeffe, Mainie is a homegrown success story and an internationally recognised leader in ethical, sustainable corporate apparel and official gift lines.
Drawing on Charmaine’s cultural heritage and a shared commitment to Indigenous economic empowerment, Mainie launched its first collection in Cairns in 2015.
Since then, the brand has grown into one of Far North Queensland’s most respected Indigenous-owned businesses, celebrated for showcasing authentic Aboriginal art through luxurious textiles and meaningful corporate gifts.
