Lara Nakamarra Dixon

Lara Nakamarra Dixon is a Warlpiri artist from Yuendumu, a remote Aboriginal community located northwest of Alice Springs in the Northern Territory of Australia.

Lara paints with the renowned Warlukurlangu Artists Aboriginal Corporation, one of Central Australia’s longest-running and most respected Aboriginal art centres.

Deeply connected to her cultural heritage and traditional homelands, Lara paints Jukurrpa (Dreaming Stories) that have been passed down to her through countless generations of her Warlpiri ancestors.

Lara’s artworks reflect her strong spiritual connection to her culture and Country.
