WATERHOLES

Calming, fluid and deeply connected to Country, Waterholes is inspired by the life-giving freshwater billabongs found in the Australian bush landscape.

Painted in serene tones of deep blue and aqua, the artwork reflects the quiet strength of natural water sources that sustain people, animals and the land.

  • Circular motifs represent sacred waterholes - places of both practical and spiritual significance.
  • Dotted patterns evoke the replenishing rains of the wet season, when the billabongs fill and breathe new life into Country.

Through Waterholes, Natasha illustrates the enduring relationship First Nations peoples have with water - the essence of life itself.
