This beautiful design is adapted from an authentic Aboriginal artwork by Natasha Davui, an acclaimed contemporary First Nations artist from Far North Queensland.
Purple Connections is a visual expression of the unbreakable physical and spiritual bond that Aboriginal people share with land, culture, family and community.
Drawing from thousands of generations of ancestral wisdom, the artwork speaks to the strength, resilience and cultural continuity of the world’s oldest continuous living culture, one that has thrived on the Australian continent for over 65,000 years.
